My experience with C.O. Bigelow Ultra Mentha Lip Shine:
I was introduced to this product when my friend had just returned from the US and she got us a whole lot of lip balms, glosses and perfumes. This one is available in any Bath and Body Works outlet, mostly at the billing counter. And because I loved this product so much I had to purchase it again. It could be found in India at any store which has imported products or online on eBay.
This is a clear gloss which you can put over your lipstick or just this alone for casual days. The gloss is thick in consistency and glides right on. The nozzle is slant which allows easy application of the product. Not only does it last long on your lips, it also provides a fresh breath. The gloss has a tangy minty taste along with slight tingling sensation on the lips when the balm is first applied. I’m not sure if it is edible, but I always tend to lick it off. The gloss doesn’t stay for long, but the sheerness on the lips is amazing. And there is no stickiness on the lips. Just some moisturizing effect.
Pros of C.O. Bigelow Ultra Mentha Lip Shine
• Long lasting
• Tingling sensation (which I love, most of you might not like)
• Fresh breath after application
• Convenient packaging
Cons of C.O. Bigelow Ultra Mentha Lip Shine
- Expensive
- Not easily available
- Thick
Would I purchase C.O. Bigelow Ultra Mentha Lip Shine again?
Yes. This is my second tube and whenever I can get my hand on this, I would surely buy it again.
IMBB Rating:
4/5
Final Verdict:
This is a clear gloss with minty taste which provides a fresh breath. A slight tingling sensation on the lips when first applied which gradually fades away and so does the glossiness. All that remains is sheer and moisturized lips. I would advice this for a fun day with the girls or just casual shopping.
