Hi IMBB gang,
Need your help.Can I wear gladiator sandals with salwar kameez? Please please please reply.I am returning these sandals depending on your reply. I bought a pair today that I am planning to wear with my diwali salwar. Please reply.Thank you.
In my opinion its a major no. But it actually depends on what kind of salwar kameez you have, if it is a traditional one, then don’t wear it, if it is one of those sleel,cool salwar kameez and the colour of both are complementing each other, then its fine. But for me, its still a no.
Why are yo u returning it? U can wear it with some thing else na, anything else other than Indian wear.
Its upto you, don’t depend on us, if you want it, go ahead, listen to nike, just do it 😛
I think gladiator sandals look great with churidhars, but salwar kameez…..I think if you are wearing a patiala, no one will notice 😮 😮

Yep even i say, don’t return !!! They are just aweeeeeeeeesome with almost everything western.
There are soo many styles in gladiators itself. Would also depend on the type you have. But I feel they should work with salwar kameez, as long as the 2(dress and sandals) stlyes dont contradict each other majorly.
Don’t wear them with Salwar Kameez.. 🙂

I think I agree with Jas. Depends on the kind of gladiators you have bought. If they look like rock chic sandles, you might not want to wear them with salwar kameez. but probably you could wear them with some other dress. 🙂

I have actually seen some gladiators in the market that will look good with salwar kameez. So it still depends on what type have been bought.
And like gals have said here, they are good to have anyways. :-))
Hmm I dont think you should wear them with salwar, and don’t return them .You can wear them with skirts, shorts, knee length pants or even leggings depending on the colors. So dont return they are a must have 🙂
I agree don’t return them & don’t wear them with salwar. I wear them on skinny jeans all the time & they look awesome !!

It really depends on how well your gladiators and salwar kameez matches. Send us a pic, and I’ll genuinely be able to tell you. However I think they will look fab on churidars.
Also Bata has some amazing collection this festive season. Check out their Marie Claire collection. They have gladiators, pumps, ballets as well, but some of the thong beaded chappals will go amazing with salwar kameez!

I always wear what I like but didn’t want to look funny as I wasn’t sure about wearing Gladiators with my dress so i asked you gals.
Actually it’s a chudidar …i wrote salwar kameez by mistake…silly me.
I bought a new pair of stilleto sandals today for my diwali chudidar dress.
Had planned to return the Gladiators .But I didn’t return…thanks to your advice.Will wear them with jeans and three fourths.
These Stilleto Gladiator Sandals are the ankle cuff types that come up high and cuff around the ankle.It has a zipper closure on back.I don’t think these type of sandals will look good with a chudidar…the flat ones may look good.What do you think girls?
Would like to add….THe cuff is slightly above ankle.
