Chambor Silk Touch Lipstick in Silk Secret Review
Writing a review about the Chambor Silk Touch Lipstick in Silk Secret has made me realize that I own only one Chambor lipstick. Well, guess it is shopping time again 😉 I love the silky feel of this lipstick.

My Experience with Chambor Silk Touch Lipstick in Silk Secret:
The lipstick comes in a black and dark navy blue coloured plastic case with a silver band in the center. The shade is mentioned at the bottom of the case. The lipstick has a strong sweet coconut fragrance which stays on for some time after application.
The lipstick is a brownish red shade, almost like a dark chestnut. I love the texture of the lipstick. It is very buttery yet does not feel heavy on the lips at all. It glides really smoothly on the lips. One swipe gives a sheer coverage. I need to swipe at least 2-3 times to get a better coverage. The lipstick gives a glossy finish. It looks like a highly pigmented gloss.
The staying power of the lipstick is not very high. It lasts for only a couple of hours or so after which it leaves a very light stain on the lips. The lipstick does bleed to a great extent because of its buttery texture, but it is ideal for use in winters since it covers chapped and dry lips and heals them to some extent. In summer times, the lipstick does melt unless stored in a refrigerator. Overall, I love the lipstick, especially in winters.
Pros of Chambor Silk Touch Lipstick in Silk Secret:
- Buttery in texture, hence does feel like silk on the lips.
- Glides easily on the lips.
- Gives a good glossy finish.
- Ideal for winter use since it covers chapped and dry lips and heals them to a certain extent.
- Wide range of shades available.
Cons of Chambor Silk Touch Lipstick in Silk Secret:
- Gives a sheer coverage, needs at least 2-3 swipes for a better coverage.
- Very poor staying power, lasts for only an hour or so.
- Bleeds highly, needs a lip liner compulsorily.
- Strong caramel fragrance which can be daunting for some.
- Tends to melt in summers.
