Hellooooooo beauties!! *happy dance*
How have you all been? I have been away for awhile because of some crazy work at college and home! *phew* But I did catch up on all those reviews on IMBB 😛 Never too busy for that 😀 Now that I’m free, I am going to write a marathon of reviews. *hihi*
The product I am going to review today is a new addition to my lip balm collection 😀 It is the Chambor Velvet Lips lip balm. I came across this one at the Chambor counter the other day when I went shopping and I was so taken away by the “Velvet Lips” tagline to it! 😛 So I picked this up instantly! Let’s see how this fared.

My experience with Chambor Velvet Lips lip balm:
I love lip balms! I just hoard them! 😛 So this was also an impulsive buy. I have been using this for almost a week now, so I am ready to review it. Firstly, about the packaging. This comes in a cute navy blue box. This lip balm comes in a little transparent pot with a dark navy blue coloured glossy cap. The packaging is travel friendly, handy and looks classy .On the whole, very neat packaging. Now about the texture of the lip balm! As you can see in the pictures, the texture is buttery soft and spreads like butter on my lips. The lip balm has a hint of mango fragrance in it and I love it. *happy dance* The fragrance is very refreshing and summery. When applied to the lips, it is quite sheer. It stays on my lips for a good 3 hours without meals or any drinks. With meals, it leaves some moisture behind. After using it for a week, I can say that this lip balm provides moisture to a very good extent. My lips feel super moisturized, soft and supple. *happy dance* The lip balm gives a glossy finish to the lips. Velvet Lips comes with SPF 15 and we all love sun protection in any form, don’t we? *hihi*On the whole, I love this product! This is on my “must-have” list 😛 My new favourite after Maybelline Baby Lips *happy dance*
Pros of Chambor Velvet Lips lip balm:
• Packaging is sturdy and travel friendly
• Presence of natural bee wax which locks in moisture.
• Presence of shea butter.
• Has SPF 15
• Protects from pigmentation.
• Smells amazing.
• Texture is buttery soft.
• Staying power is amazing.
Cons of Chambor Velvet Lips lip balm:
• Price is on the higher side
• It comes in a jar, so applying it with fingers every time is quite unhygienic.
• Not tinted so would be a bummer for those who love tinted lip balms.
Will I repurchase/recommend Chambor Velvet Lips lip balm?
Yes, I will definitely repurchase this one. *happy dance* I love how soft it feels on my lips. I will repurchase this forever 😛
Yes, I would definitely recommend it to the ones who love non-tinted lip balms. It looks lovely on top of lipsticks *happy dance* In the pictures here, I have applied just a single swipe of Chambor Powder Matte lipstick in Pink Flamingo and one swipe of the Chambor Velvet Lips over it. It gives a beautiful shine Do give it a try! *happy dance*
Have an amazing week. Until next time, take care lovely ladies!
