Hello ladies,

Today I am here again with a lip liner review from Chambor. This one has been lying in my stash for a while. Actually I got this as a free gift when I bought some Chambor goodies. I am not so much into dark lipsticks and this a dark lip liner, so this was lying around without catching my attention. I have been using this for the review purpose, so lets see how it worked for me.

My experience with the Chambor Velvette Touch Lip Liner Pencil- BR 02

When I started wearing lipsticks I was in love with darker shades, more into browns and maroons. I would have been in love with this lip liner if I had got it then. But now I very rarely wear dark lipsticks, so those who like dark shades will absolutely love this shade.

The colour of this lip pencil is a red with brown undertones. It is a bit darker than the Chambor Velvette Touch Lip Liner Pencil- BR-01 reviewed here. The texture is soft and smooth, ideal for a lip pencil, not too soft to cause any breakage. There is no tug or pull while lining your lips, it glides on smoothly and defines your lips with the right precision. It tends to highlight dry patches, so exfoliating your lips would be a good idea.

It is also very pigmented and can be built up to give full coverage on your lips. The staying power is also very good and it fades evenly without forming patches but I had to use a make up remover at the end of the day to completely remove it. It gives a matte finish on your lips like any normal lip liners, which can be a bit drying on lips, making it uncomfortable. Like I said before in my lip liner reviews, I never wear lip liners as lip colours, but for those who love using that way, can wear this with a touch of gloss on top. I did not find any creasing or feathering with the lip pencil, it stayed put as long as I wore it.

The lip pencil comes in the sharpening form which cause a lot of wastage of the product. The pencil is colour coded in the same way as the shade inside. The cap is transparent making it easy to see the colour inside and it is travel friendly also. This lip pencil is suitable for all skin types especially the dusky skin tones. So lets sum up the pros and cons.

• There is no tugging or pulling while applying the liner.
• It is highly pigmented and can be build up to cover pigmented lips
• I did not find any creasing or feathering while using the liner
• It is quite travel friendly and does not create any mess in your vanity

Cons of Chambor Velvette Touch Lip Liner Pencil- BR- 02

• There is a tendency to highlight dry patches which can be avoided with prior exfoliation of your lips.
• There is a lot of product wastage due to sharpening

Would I repurchase Chambor Velvette Touch Lip Liner Pencil- BR- 02?

No. I will not repurchase it because I am not a fan of darker colours.
