Chanel Huile De Jasmin Review

As I have mentioned in my previous posts, I have been using two face oils non-stop since this past winter – Tata Harper Face Oil and Chanel Huile De Jasmin Face Oil. Today, I will be reviewing Chanel Huile De Jasmin.

Product Description:
With Huile De Jasmin, Chanel reinterprets a timeless skincare product from its heritage, created by Gabrielle Chanel in 1927. Pure and simple, HUILE DE JASMIN is composed almost entirely of naturally-derived ingredients. At the heart lies a jasmine extract from Grasse, exclusive to CHANEL. Smoothing, nourishing and fortifying, its formula infuses the skin with its revitalising properties, while delivering comfort and suppleness.

My Experience with Chanel Huile De Jasmin:

Chanel Huile De Jasmin comes housed in a transparent glass bottle with a screw up black cap on it. The Chanel logo is engraved on the top of the bottle.

I have been using this facial oil for a while now and I kind of like this stuff. This can be used as a daily moisturiser, which I have been doing since the last two months, and I can definitely see a major difference in my skin. This facial oil moisturises my skin without making it oily or greasy.

It also feels quite lightweight on the skin. Chanel oil gets absorbed and gives a luminous glow to the skin. You cannot see oil layering up on the skin. After applying this product, my skin feels moisturized, soft, and smooth. In fact, mixing up this Chanel oil with foundation makes foundation work and look better.

My skin looks dewy and beautiful. I use this oil both during daytime and nighttime before using Tata Harper Face Oil and my skin feels very moisturized. I don’t feel the need to add a moisturizer on top.

It claims to reduce fine lines and it did reduce my fine lines around the eyes and mouth area. With regular use, I did feel my skin getting smoother and brighter. Chanel oil smells like jasmine, too floral for my liking, but I don’t mind it now. I have acne-prone and sensitive skin, and I like the fact that this oil didn’t cause any acne or irritation, which makes it quite fit for sensitive skin as well.

Pros of Chanel Huile De Jasmin:

  • Top-notch ingredients.
  • Reduces fine lines.
  • Smooths and brightens skin.
  • Gets easily absorbed and doesn’t feel greasy.
  • Skin doesn’t feel the need for further moisturization.
  • Fit for sensitive skin.
  • Multi-purpose product.

Cons of Chanel Huile De Jasmin:

  • The jasmine scent that this oil has might bother some.
  • Expensive.

Would I Repurchase Chanel Huile De Jasmin?
