My Experience with Chanel Retractable Kabuki brush
When I saw this little brush at the Chanel counter, I knew I had to have it. I mean look at how cute it looks. 😀
It is a gorgeous kabuki brush that comes in a glossy black retractable cover. There is Chanel’s logo embossed in white on the cap. The material is a weightless metal. It is very portable and easy to carry around.
Coming to the bristles. These are white bristles that are almost cushiony-soft. It is the softest brush EVER in my collection. It almost kisses your face if that’s the way to put it. 😀
The bristles are densely packed so that makes it a very effective for using powder foundations. You can literally buff the product in your skin and make it look very natural. Since the bristles are not too widely spread, I also use it for buffing and blending out the contour.
Since the bristles are white, it gets dirty pretty quickly. But it gets washed easily and so far the bristles have held their shape and softness.
I like the size of the brush too. It is neither too small nor too big. It fits the hand perfectly and makes for a controlled application.
The only drawback I’d say is that since the bristles are so densely packed, it take a long time to completely dry. And as the weather is getting colder, it is only going to take longer.
This brush is totally worth including in your collection despite the price. But this will last you years. And it is easier to carry around for touch ups on the go. The cap keeps the brush clean all the time.
