It gives me great pleasure in announcing that this post is my 152nd post on my favourite blog. I wanted to share this happiness after completing 150th post but missed the count somehow. Anyways, better late than never. It feels really great to be associated with IMBB for so long….I am elated  *happydance*  *hapydance*

My take on Clinique Chubby Stick Mega Melon:

Packaging: It comes in a very classy barrel kind packaging which has a twist up covering at the back. The cap in the front and twist up casing at the back both are of silver colour. There’s a small round mirror on the cap which actually comes in handy while application. The colour of the packaging is matched to the chubby stick colour so it will be very convenient to locate in your stash if you own more than one.

Fragrance: Now this is the best part of this tinted lip balm, it does not smell of anything. I guess all Clinique products are fragrance free and allergy tested so a thumbs up on this front as well.

Colour: It is a pale pink shad, I think it will suit all skin tones and specially fair skinned gals. It will look best with heavily kohled eyes or you may use it on days when you do not feel like applying layers of lipsticks/ makeup. It might be your MLBB shade.

Formula: It feels very smooth and buttery when glided on to the lips. It spreads easily on the lips but again I find it to be sheer , even with multiple swipes it gave me medium coverage. My sister has pigmented lips and this particular shade was not very evident on her lips . It does not bleed nor does it settle down in fine lines, it does the job of a tinted lip balm beautifully. No staining and no bleeding as well.

Staying Power: It stays put for a good 3 hours sans munching. It can not survive a full meal. I do not really expect a tinted lip balm to stay beyond this so I am fine with the staying power and do not mind touch ups.

Summarising the pros and cons,

Pros of Clinique Chubby Stick Woppin Water Melon:

1. Packaging is very classy indeed, the mirror at the top shows the time put into the R&D by the company. Well appreciated.
2. It feels soft and buttery on the lips and glides effortlessly.
3. Staying power is also ok considering it is just a lip balm.
4. Lips stay moisturised and supple.
5. Fairly neutral shade which should look good on all skin tones.

Cons of Clinique Chubby Stick Woppin Water Melon:

1. May not be affordable for all.
2. Needs to be reapplied after 3 hours or so.
3. Can not survive full meals.

Will I repurchase Clinique Chubby Stick Woppin Water Melon/ Do I recommend Clinique Chubby Stick Woppin Water Melon?

Well, I think at the same price, I would want to own a MAC lipistick. I will not repurchase it and if you are one of those who like to splurge a little more for the quality then I would definitely recommend this chubby stick to you.
