It’s been a while since I have reviewed any makeup product, so here is one and it’s by Clio. Clio is a mid-range Korean brand which is known for their lip products and creams. On my last trip to Hong Kong, I picked up two shades from their newly-launched lip tension range. The shade I will be reviewing today is “Pinkvely.”

My Experience with Clio Tension Lip #09 Pinkvely:
Clio lip tension comes housed in a matte black tube with lip tension written in metallic red font. The inside of the lipstick tube has a Korean actress’ name written with a lip imprint on it. The name of the brand is engraved on the top of the cap and the shade name is printed at the bottom of the tube.
I love lipsticks from Korean brands as they offer a huge range of bright bold lip colours which I gravitate towards easily. The lip tension range by Clio offers pigmentation with beautiful satiny finish. Lip tension has saturated colour payoff and needs two swipes for full coverage, but you can definitely blend to make it and looks like a wash of colour or to get sheer to medium coverage.
“Pinkvely” is a stunning coral pink shade which would look stunning on fair to medium skin tones. The lip tension sits very comfortably on the lips and feels very lightweight also. It has a very hydrating formula and my lips feel hydrated even after the lipstick has worn off. This shade leaves a stain behind after it has worn off and doesn’t make your lips look flat.
This doesn’t have any noticeable scent. People who have fine lines on the lips might need a lip liner because I did notice some feathering with this. The shade “Pinkvely” is a perfect spring and summer shade and is a definite must have in my opinion if you love bold and bright lips. Lip tension do last for 5 to 6 hours on my lips and leaving a stain behind.
