Diya Mirza’s Hairstyle: Show and Ask

Jomol Shows and Asks:

I adore Diya Mirza. My hair is somewhat wavy like how Diya Mirza is sporting in this picture, but a lot frizzy. I just love this hairstyle of Diya Mirza’s because one can maintain length as well as bangs in this style. Can you tell me what type of hairstyle this is called and where in Hyderabad I can get a similar cut?

Dia Mirza

Thanks in Advance πŸ™‚

  2. she has her hair curled with a curling iron in this pic….if you want such a look, go for layered hair, and you’ll have to curl DAILY if you want such a look everyday….its a high-maintenance hairstyle!!! for frizz, try using anti-frizz hair products…always use a serum…

  3. Hi Jomol..Try Ashton pierra on BJ Road no 9 & also the famous Chinese Parlour at Banjara Hills(Opposite to Kusum Designers)..

  4. Hi Jomol….me too from hyd. πŸ™‚
I too like Diya Mirza…her curls are lovely…
my hair is wavy and a bit dry…i would love to add curls to my hair…
i too want to know where can i get this cut(step or layered)?

  5. Go for steps with layers in front… and the curl part can be achieved by lods of blow drying n a curling iron I guess.
My hair is naturally curly, so everytime i go for a hair cut the stylish gives me this  now i badly want a change :scream:
PS-I adore Dia Mirza too..she’s got a great skin na :green: :green: :green:

    1. Ps- i was first introduced to the cut by the Habib’s salon here..they were initially reluctant to say which hair cut was it..but I figured it out after few years

  6. cut is no big issue if you have proper tools and Technic. you can easily get this look with the philip product jomol reviewed earlier.
    you will need
    Philips Multi-Styler Salon Stylist HP4696
    heat protectant
    curl enhancer
and give it a final touch with extra hold hair spray.
    al the best

  7. This is called Not-aam-aadmi(err aurat)-ke-bus-ka-hairdo-atleast-not-for-everyday.. :specs:

Though its a layered cut..but loads of volumising stuff as she has scanty hair + Heavy duty hot iron curling… :pigtail:

Jomolayyy..If you have wavy hair..use plastic curlers & fix the waves with hairspray..for ppl like me who have pomaranian-dog-ish-locks…betta take professional help to get such look.. :pompom:

  8. hi jomol,
i dot know about salons in hyderabad, yet you can try a reputed one like javed’s, however the haircut here might inverted layer’s at the back at round layers at the front and crown, this definitely needs daily styling with curling tongs, and volumising styling products. at home after such an haircut for daily styling use a welcro big roller for front fringe which is harmless for hair( along with some volumising product), and for the back since you have curly hair use volumising products of good brands like loreal on semi dry hair or 80% dry hair and scrunch your hair till it dries.

  9. EXTENSIONS??? :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: kidding..she does have lovely hair and looks so elegant all the time. i would go with volumizing shampooing, conditioner, step cut and hair curlers. that should do atleast part of the trick..:) good luck..

  10. I have a similar style (when I can be bothered to spend an hour with a curling iron).

The hairdresser basically parted hair down the middle, and then did a cut that put the shortest layer at my chin and gradually increased the length of the hair, so it looked like a diagonal line going down on either side of my face. then she blow-dried and curled the hair, but not to the extremes shown in the pic above. Curl the hair outwards with a tong that is about 38mm barrel. HTH πŸ˜‰
