Efficacy of Nisin Kalo Hair Inhibitor: Ask IMBB

I’m a newbie here and really impressed with the work that you guys are doing.  I do have a query.  Yesterday, I went to the market and came across products called Nisin kalo hair inhibitor and Nisim kalo post epilating spray, apparently these products are used to lessen and eventually stop the hair growth on various body parts.  I was really tempted to buy these but thought I should first do some R&D as these products are not cheap,  They were available for close to Rs. 2000. I did search for them here but did not get any results. I guess these are not widely known yet.  As beauty experts, I would like to know your opinion on using such products and their side effects, if any.

  1. Hello Esha,
I have never herd of this product.
To be very honest I would suggest not to go for these superficial unnatural products especially when it comes to your skin. Because what u said that this product lessens the hair growth which is practically indigestible. instead of this commercial product u can go for home remedy to slow down your hair growth. U can take gram floor(or jou ka aata if u can get)+ Turmeric + Glycerin+Lemon. Mix them with the help of water and apply on hands or where ever u need. Let it set and dry. After drying just start scrubbing in reverse direction of your hair (like wax strep pilling)and u will come to know how much dirt u use to carry.
This ubatan slows the hair growth and gives a nice cleaning to your skin. But for this u need to stick on this for such a lot of time. But it works.

  2. Hey Esha,
I read some reviews of these products from Nisim Kalo on amazon.com and there haven’t been any complaints about any nasty side effects or anything. Also, they’ve been around since 1997 so they seem quite safe. If you do decide to give it a try, remember to do a patch test on the underside of your arm first. Also, BEWARE OF FAKES! I have a feeling that these types of products will have lots of fakes in the Indian market. Hope this helps 🙂

  3. sorry i dont know this particular brand..The Vedic Line hair retarder is good btw.. 🙂 u can buy it online..

  4. Esha, i have never heard of this product (not that i know every single beauty product).. When i saw this title, i remembered some physics apparatus. 😛 😛 .. All i can say is, don’t ever try and test any new product which you have not heard at all. hair growth being stopped without laser or such treatments?? sounds scary.. i remember seeing such products in tele-marketing programs on TV. they say that hair never comes back and all.. if it was so successful why haven’t it got famous even though women world over have longed for hairless bodies??

  5. Never used this tho i’v heard bout it.. Even oriflame has such hair retarding products which u use after waxing or shaving..maybe u cud try them out.
