Hi pretty ones!
I am back again with another review of Elle 18 Colorpop Lipstick. After being introduced to the wonderful world of coral colored lipsticks, I have gone absolute gaga over them! I search for coral lippy every time I go lipstick hunting.Elle 18 has been adding some really nice shades to their collection recently and I came across two of these today. I bought one for myself and the other for my mum. I will be reviewing the other one too very soon. For now, let’s get on with the review of “Coral shine”.
Rs.100 for 4.3ml
Cocoa butter (nothing else is mentioned)
Pigmentation, staying power and texture:
This shade is a gorgeous coral one which made me go weak in my knees! It is a true coral which gives that pop of color to the face. I have bright wheat-ish complexion which tends to tan easily, but I feel this color would suit me even when I am tanned. The texture is smooth and creamy. The pigmentation, though quite good, will give the true shade if you swipe it twice over the lips. The quality is build-able and does not feel heavy at all even when swiped twice. The fragrance is not overpowering and it is like any other Elle 18 lippie: bubble gummy! Again , the staying power is very disappointing. It stays for just 2 hours or so without meals in between. But then, I would not mind touch ups for such a gorgeous shade!
This shade, I feel will suit fair to bright wheatish tones more.
Pros of Elle 18 Color Pops lipstick Coral Shine :
- Many shades to choose from this range.
- Easily available.
- Texture is smooth and creamy and there is no shimmer ( something which is love about it).
Cons of Elle 18 Color Pops lipstick Coral Shine :
- No ingredient list mentioned
- Staying power is poor.
4/5 (I am giving such high marks because of the gorgeous shade more than anything else)
