Essence Ultra Last Instant Color Lipstick 10 Pink Candy Review

I had recently picked up Draw the line lip liners from Essence. I also noticed that they had matching lipsticks and I decided to pick up a few which were my favorite. Today’s review is all about Essence Ultra Last Instant Color Lipstick in the shade “10 Pink Candy”. Read on to know more.

Product Description:

My Experience with Essence Ultra Last Instant Color Lipstick 10 Pink Candy:

The product comes in a black case with the Essence logo print on the top and the shade at the bottom. The cap closes with a click. The bottom of the twist-up cap has the shade of the lipstick and this creates a belt like around the black case and makes it easier to pick the shades. There is no much information on the case expect the shade name and quantity. The product comes unsealed thus, you need to really open each one to make sure that it hasn’t been swatched or used. The package is good and the product is easy to carry and is travel-friendly.

“Pink Candy” is a beautiful bright pinkish-fuchsia shade. The shade gives me winter vibes where you can light up everything with bright, bold lips. The product has a glossy sheen finish. There is no noticeable fragrance to the lipstick. Similar shade lip liner is available and it is good if you pick both of them as they complement each other.

The lip stick is very creamy and glides on easily with any fuss. It doesn’t tug or pull the lips while application. I absolutely love this quality. You can dust it with some powder if you want to create a semi-matte texture. The product is very soft on lips however, it is pretty strong and doesn’t break easily like the lip liner. The product is amazingly pigmented. With one sweep you will get the desired color onto the lips. You can easily create bold bright shade with just 2-3 swipes.

The product when used alone lasted for around 3-4 hours before it started fading. It completely fades away and doesn’t leave any tint on the lips. However, when I used it with the lip liner, it stayed for around 8 hours which is very impressive. There is very little transfer when used with a lip liner. The product alone does bleed a little. The product must be applied to well exfoliated lips if not, it does cling onto the dry flakes on the lips. Even when you reapply, make sure you always moisturize your lips before application. The product is also very easy to remove and doesn’t cause much of a fuss. Overall, it is a pretty nice shade and if you like bold colors, do try them out but, always use it with a lip liner.
