My Experience with Essence XXXL Shine Lip Gloss in 13 Rock On:

The packaging of the lip-gloss is simple yet elegant. It comes in a transparent cylindrical tube, which has a cute silver ring at its neck. The tube has a silver-coloured cap. The Essence logo is embossed on the top of the cap. All the product details are printed in silver on the tube. The lip-gloss has a soft, delicate and flexible flat tip applicator. ‘Rock On’ is a sheer purplish lip-gloss. This royal purple lip-gloss has so many tiny pink glitters in it. This sheer gloss looks good and deep purple in the tube but it looks very light purple on the lips.

The lip-gloss looks horrible on my lips. It’s a total fail for me. It makes my lips look dark or brownish with a hint of purple. Overall, this shade does not go well on me. The lip-gloss may look good on extremely fair skin tones. But people with pale to dark skin tones must stay away from this.

The lip-gloss smells good. I love the fragrance of all essence lip-glosses. But it may bother people with sensitive noses. The smell fades away quickly with time.
Now coming to the texture of the lip-gloss, it is thick and creamy. The lip-gloss feels slightly sticky. It feels little bit heavy on the lips. The lip-gloss does not bleed. The pigmentation is poor. The lip-gloss keeps the lips moisturized and hydrated. The staying power of the lip-gloss is average, approx. 3-3.5 hours without meals, which is fine for a lip-gloss. But it washes out super-quick with meals. Once the lip-gloss fades, the shimmers are left behind which looks tacky. Overall, it is a total fail for me.
