My Experience with Essence 09 Party Connection XXXL Shine Lipgloss:
The packaging of the lip-gloss is in the form of simple transparent cylindrical tube, which has a cute silver ring at its neck. The tube has a metallic cap which has Essence logo embossed on the top. All the product details are printed in silver on the tube. It has a soft, delicate and flexible flat tip applicator. The applicator takes enough amount in one dip. Party Connection is a sheer nude brown lip-gloss. It has very fine golden micro shimmers, which gives beautiful shiny finish to the lips. This type of shade will suit fairer skin tones only.
I carry this lip-gloss with smokey eye look. It gives healthy shine to the lips. This shade will completely wash out deeper skin tones. So, people with darker skin tones must stay away from this. I love the fragrance of these lip-glosses. They have some candy-like fragrance, which is totally non-bothering for me. The smell fades away quickly with time. The texture of the lip-gloss is thick and creamy like most of the lip-glosses. The lip-gloss feels slightly sticky. It feels little bit heavy on the lips. The lip-gloss does not bleed or smudge.
It does not settle into the fine lines of the lips. It keeps the lips moisturized and nourished. It does not dry out the lips. The pigmentation of the lip-gloss is average for a sheer lip-gloss. The staying power of the lip-gloss is decent, i.e. 4 hours without meals. But, it washes out super-quick with eating & drinking. Overall, I find it a good lip-gloss.
