My Experience with Faces Obsession Ultime Pro Starry Matte Lip Crayon:
The packaging is like the typical lip crayons which need to be sharpened after almost every use. The sharpener comes free with the crayon which is definitely worth mention. The body is color coded and bears the name and other details about the product. I would have loved if the cap shut with a click.
The texture is otherwise smooth but the presence of shimmers makes the color gritty and uncomfortable. Also, the shade does not gel with the lips; it sits on like a coat of color. I do not like the heavy feel of it on the lips and the shimmers are a big no no when it comes to matte lip colors. The lip crayons are much pigmented and give enough color to the lips in one swipe.
The color is a bold bright orange with golden shimmers. It does look on-the-face kind of bright and you have to learn to carry it. Definitely not for people who have a problem with shimmers and bold shades. A very summer-appropriate shade and to be paired with minimal makeup for the rest of the face.
The staying power varies from 4-5 hours depending on the food/fluid intake. I do not mind the 4-5 hours stay but honestly I do not like the uneven patchy fading after having a snack/meal. It does not stain the lips but leaves behind the shimmers which is gross!
Overall I had high expectations from the new range as I had really good experience with the Ultime Pro Velvet Matte range by Faces. The shimmers and gritty texture were the initial turn offs and the added irritation was the uneven patchy fading.

Gritty shimmer is a big nono for me. In fact I do not even like fine particles in my lip products. I like the shade and the fact that it comes with a sharpener, but not worth it.
