I was looking for a good moisturizing body wash because of the effect the winters are having on my skin. I hate the dry and stretchy feeling I get all day. Because of this, I have to re-apply body lotions but the other problem here is my laziness and forgetfulness. My Dove Exfoliating Body Wash was just about to finish and I was ordering some stuff online and saw this body wash. I had never tried any product from Freeman but I had saw reviews of products from this brand on IMBB. Moreover, it claimed to contain Mandarin oil and to be moisturizing, so I thought I should give it a try.
Price: Rs 220 for 150 ml
It was available at 50% discount, so I got it for 110. This was the other reason for me to order it. 😛

My experience with this product:
Freeman Mandarin Moisturizing body wash comes in an inverted green colored bottle with a flip flop cap.there wasn’t any spillage of the product when this body wash reached me, so I guess it is travel friendly. The cap is not very tight and is easy to open. I consider this as an important factor because some bottles are really difficult to open with wet hands.
The body wash has pale pearly color. The consistency is neither too thick nor too runny. This body wash has citrusy fragrance. The fragrance of oranges can be sniffed in the entire wash room and I love this fragrance. It is very refreshing and is not at all overpowering. The only problem is that the fragrance just lingers on for 5 minutes. It is highly disappointing for me because I like the fragrance a lot.
This body wash lathers well and is not required in excess. It is easy to wash and does not leave any oily residue on my skin. My skin feels soft and supple after using this. It moisturizes my skin but the moisturisation isn’t enough. I need to follow it with lotion to deal with the dryness. The moisturizing power isn’t enough but now when I miss my lotion my skin feels less dry and stretchy than earlier. So, it not completely useless. It just isn’t enough in winters but for summers, I am sure the moisturisation it provides will be before than enough and I won’t have to follow it with lotion.
• Heavenly fragrance. It is very refreshing.
• Lathers well.
• Quantity required is appropriate.
• Easy to wash off and does not leave any oily residue on my skin.
• Skin feels soft and supple after use.
• Its moisturisation will be enough for summers.
• Fragrance just lingers on for 5 minutes.
• Moisturising power not at all enough for winters.
Will I repurchase/ do I recommend?
No. it is just an average body wash with the price double than the normal drug store body washes available. I like its fragrance but what’s the use when it doesn’t linger on for even an hour. The moisturisation will be enough for summers but the same extent of moisturisation can be given by lots of other body washes with less prices. I will prefer to get Palmolive and lux body washes over it.
