My lips are feeling dry and chapped lately and I was searching for good lip balms to heal my lips. My Experience with Fresh Sugar Lip Serum Advanced Therapy:
This Fresh Sugar Lip Serum comes housed in a pump bottle with 10 ml of product in it. The bottle is a transparent one which helps you to see how much product you have used up.
I have used tonnes of lip balms but this is the first time that I have used a lip primer or a lip serum. The consistency of this lip serum is quite liquid-y and you really need a very small amount of it to cover the entire lip. It imparts slight glossiness to the lips at first and then, after a few minutes, it gets absorbed into the lips adding hydration and making lips look healthy and polished. I prefer using it before applying lipsticks since it’s hydrating enough to be applied under a lipstick but I don’t feel that it’s enough hydrating that I can use it as a night treatment.
It also doesn’t help with my chapped lips but it does even out the lip texture and reduce the appearance of fine lines, making my lips look smooth and the lipstick goes on better than usual. This is what makes it work as a primer. Even while applying liquid lipstick, my lips look a lot better and the lipstick doesn’t settle into fine lines of my lips.
Fresh sugar lip serum has a slight citrusy scent which generally all of Fresh products have. It does fade away after a few minutes, so it won’t be any issue with people with sensitive noses.

Yes, it does make my lips look even and reduces the appearance of fine lines, especially when I apply liquid lipsticks.
