Garnier Whole Blends Illuminating Shampoo Review

Hello dear readers!

Today’s product is my current favourite shampoo. I had previously reviewed Garnier Ultimate Blends the Silky Smoother Shampoo and I loved it immensely. So while I came across this shampoo at the supermarket, there was no point in not purchasing the bottle. Currently, my hair is going through the “dry and frizzy phase” with more splits appearing up every day despite getting a fresh crop, I chose a shampoo that promises to moisturise hair. Let’s read more about it.

My Experience with Garnier Whole Blends Illuminating Shampoo:

Garnier Whole Blends Moroccan Argan and Camellia Oils Shampoo comes in a transparent, bulky bottle to house 12.5 fl. oz. of product. The leaf impressed flip-cap closes tight but the cap isn’t too sturdy to travel with without soiling it. Also, the big bottle is going to take up mores space in luggage – so you can always pour some in travel bottle for “on-the-go” days. The bottle can be seen labelled with all details in pictures.

Garnier Whole Blends Moroccan Argan and Camellia Oils Shampoo isn’t a richly-lathering shampoo; you need double the regular amount if you are used to lathering your hair to luxurious feel. This doesn’t mean that regular amount will not clean your hair – it definitely does and the bonus is that it rinses easily without weighing down or any residue in tresses.

The results are thoroughly satisfying –each wash leaves my hair silky soft without ripping natural oils from my scalp. I don’t need a conditioner essentially afterwards, my hair feels soft and not dry at all. This shampoo makes styling easy as it gives somewhat blow dry effect to my hair. It makes hair silky and moisturised, which reduces hair fall and breakage – so lesser split ends and easier detangling is achieved. Garnier Whole Blends Moroccan Argan and Camellia Oils Shampoo isn’t too expensive on my wallet, but I need a good amount for my medium length long hair, and I would need to open the next bottle sooner than any other regular shampoo.

Pros of Garnier Whole Blends Illuminating Shampoo:

  • Infused with Moroccan argan oil and camellia oil extracts.
  • Definitely a moisturising shampoo.
  • Assists in easy detangling and easy styling.
  • Reduces breakage and split ends.
  • Makes hair soft, shiny and gives a blow dry effect.
  • Doesn’t rip natural oils from scalp, resulting in dry-damaged hair.
  • Controls frizz by adding moisture to hair.
  • Fairly priced.
  • No overwhelming fragrance, does not feel harsh on the hair.
  • Cleans hair well.

Cons of Garnier Whole Blends Illuminating Shampoo:

  • Regular amount doesn’t lather richly – so you need doubt the quantity for a luxurious wash though it leaves hair clean and moisturised in regular amount too.

IMBB Rating:

4/5

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Garnier Whole Blends Illuminating Shampoo?

Yes, if you have dry and damaged hair type, this is definitely going to bring some improvement and it also reduces breakage along with split ends, but I am not sure how this product is going to work on oily scalp issues. Yes, I will repurchase this through winter this year till I get something better.
