ABSTRACT GEOMETRIC DESIGN EASY TO-DO NAIL ART TUTORIAL
Hello friends…hope you all doing great!!
This is the nail art tutorial I will be doing today. :-))

I wanted to do a nail art tutorial since long. But due to busy schedule and also because of my nail chipping problem, I had this delay. :-((
I had to cut short all the nails….me sad :weep:
Anyways, I could not wait longer :-P. So here is a nail art tutorial on my short nails. It is a geometric pattern where I have used three shades. You have to select a light, medium and a dark shade of either same family or contrasting if you like it that way.

Here is a step by step guide to do it. It’s easy to-do. No professional nail art tools required.
So just remove your favorite nail paints and let’s get going!!! :-))
You require:
• A transparent base coat. (I am using Avon Nail Experts Smooth Beginning base coat)
• A light color nail polish of your choice. (I am using Avon simply pretty shade Frosty Blue)
• A medium color nail polish. (I am using Ambika Pillai’s Hard Candy in shad Cobalt Blue)
• A dark color nail polish. (I am using a Nail juice matte black nail polish)
• A silver glitter nail polish. (I am using nail art pen in silver)

• A toothpick or zero number brush or old eyeliner brush. (If you do not have a nail art pen)
• A transparent top coat. (I am using Ambika Pillai’s Hard Candy transparent top coat)

So let’s begin….
Step 1:-
Clean and shape your nails beforehand. Use a nail buffer to even out rough surface.

Step 2:-
Apply a transparent base coat. Using a base coat really make a difference. It prevents yellowing of nails as well as peeling. Please make sure you use a good quality base coat as it is the one which actually has direct contact with your nail.

Step 3:-
Apply your base color. Apply two even coats and let it dry properly before going to the next step. Remember this should be the lightest shade. We are creating a gradient here. So choose your shade correctly. 🙂

Step 4:-
Now take the medium color shade and made a diagonal pattern from one corner to other as shown in the pic and fill in the same color. Keep your hands steady. If it appears sheer apply a second coat and let dry.
Step 5:-
Now take the darkest shade (I am using black as I had shimmer blue which would not suit).
Apply this color diagonally but begin from the opposite end of the previous color.

Step 6:-
Let dry the nail paints properly as we have applied too many layers. Now take the silver glitter nail art pen (or use a tooth pick or thin brush) and draw lines parallel to the borders.
The images below will make it clear how to draw the lines one by one. :-))

Step 7:-
Lastly apply a transparent top coat. And dip your fingers in cold water to make them dry faster.
And it’s done….. :victory: 😛
This is how it looks….the final look of this nail art…:fingersxd: :fingersxd:
