My Experience with Guerlain 064 Pink Bangle La Petite Robe Noire Deliciously Shiny Lip Colour:
This Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire lipstick comes housed in a very beautiful transparent case with an inverted heart, like the Guerlain La Petite Robe noire perfume.
The name of the brand is printed on the outer transparent case and the lipstick tube itself. Since it’s a see-through packaging, it’s easier to pick up the right color that you want to sport. The name of the shade is printed on the tube.
“064 Pink Bangle” is a cool-toned pink. It has blue undertones to it, which will make your teeth look whiter and I think this shade will suit a variety of skin tones and can be worn as a stain or a full-on lipstick as well. This particular shade is pigmented than the other shades that I have tried from this range. The lipstick offers sheer to medium coverage and is highly buildable without looking or feeling heavy on the lips.
It has a very glossy texture which makes lips look plump and fuller. Guerlain La Petite lipsticks have a very strong perfume-y scent, taking after the petite robe noire perfume, which personally I don’t like, but I am still okay with it.
The lipstick doesn’t bleed around the lips which is a major issue with most sheer lipsticks. This has a slip to it and needs many layers to build up to a medium coverage. I love how it feels on the lips.
It actually feels very hydrating, comfortable and lightweight which I always look for in a lipstick. Even though it’s sheer, it leaves a stain behind and doesn’t make your lips look flat. It also lasts pretty well and feels hydrating even after the color has worn off. I get full 4 hours of wear time with “Pink Bangle.”
