My Experience with John Frieda Ultimate Fixation Extra Strength Hold Hairspray:
It has been very windy lately in Netherlands and by the time I reach office I feel I have been shocked. With unmanageable fly-aways, it is really tough to keep any hairstyle in place and when I was looking for a good hairspray, I came across John Frieda. A very well know brand name in hair industry, I picked two: One for natural fixation for regular days and one for extra hold when I style my hair or on extreme windy days!
The product comes in a peacock blue-green colored spray can with a plastic nozzle and a transparent cap. The cap is tight making it travel friendly. The consistency of the hairspray is a little sticky. When sprayed it has a mild fresh fragrance but however it doesn’t last long.
As the name indicates it gives an ultimate hold to the hairstyle without allowing it to move. When sprayed you can immediately see the effect, the hair strands bind together so hard and strong winds cannot move it away. I have been using this to keep my Dutch braid in place and my braid stays for more than 24 hours in place. Even after a good sleep, there is very light damage made to the hairstyle.
The hairspray is enriched with Keratin which is an added bonus to maintain the strength of the hair. The hold can be eased by brushing and the hair is back to normal and it doesn’t leave any residue. You can also fan out your bangs or front hair and spray the product and you will be surprised to see how it holds the hair in place and also makes it look natural. It leaves a gel like residue when sprayed which stays for quite some time and after it dries the hair look all natural. I have used it on bobby pins to keep the pins in place and believe me, the bobby pins stay in place no matter what! It is a quality product and is a must have for any occasion! So summing up:
