These days’ Korean makeup and beauty products have become the talk of town. With such great benefits, I decided to jump onto the bandwagon and test out an interesting product i.e. a lip mask. I never really understood how a lip mask would perform but now after trying it for almost a month, I can provide you with my honest reviews. So, here’s more on Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

My Experience with Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask:
Packaging: This comes in a very sturdy frosted glass tub and a little spatula with a plastic head. This makes it very convenient as you don’t have to dunk your fingers in the tub with every use. The little spatula is very cute and adds a very luxurious feel to the whole packaging.
The mask looks like a very pretty fairy tale pink color in the tub but it goes almost clear on the lips. It has a very thick consistency but goes on really smoothly on the lips and is easy to spread as well. As the brand claims, it does form a protective film on the lips and when you wake up in the morning, you can still see the residual mask.
It does make my lips feel plumper and softer in the morning, but regarding the claim of exfoliating lips, I am not really sure if I noticed anything major. Because of its thick texture, it can only be used as an overnight lip treatment and would be too heavy to be used as a day-time lip balm.
Pros of Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask:
- Very nourishing for your lips.
- Ease of use.
- Sturdy, travel-friendly packaging.
- Ideal for all skin types and dermatologically tested.
- A little goes a long way.
Cons of Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask:
- No SPF.
- Availability issue.
- Not sure about its exfoliating claims.
- The ingredients list is too long to be a lip balm.
- Expensive for a lip treatment.
IMBB Rating:
4/5. I am happy with this product as it does replenish my lips and makes them smooth. The quantity you get is quite a lot and a little goes a long way. If you want to try out a lip treatment, you can go ahead but I might not repurchase this just because this tub is going to last me for ages.
