I am on the lookout for lipsticks for myself for office wear. I am of wheatish complexion and need good suggestions.. I am usually not a lipstick user but this current job requires me to look god all the time as I am managing the front office..I  personally like to use revlon, maybelline and colorbar. Please suggest some good shades.I have bought Baked brown of revlon, walnut of maybelline.If you could suggest some more brownish plus pink shades.

    recently i bought chocolate caress and aphrodite blush of lakme lip love..and i love both…u can surely use chocolate caress for office:-)

    i also suggest choco pop maybelline:-)

    Maybelline – My Mahogany, Warm Me Up
    Revlon – Coffee Break, Smoked Peach (top it up with a peach gloss)
    Colorbar – Bare, Pretty Please

They are soo sooo worth the money…the other day I was buying some other lippie, and ‘the husband’ commented ‘why do you keep buying all this junk when all you wear is this pink color?’ (i did not try to argue that it is a not JUST a pink color, it is THE pink color – I was wearing Cosmo :makeup: )

  13. Hi Anu..there are ton’s of lipstick reviews on IMBB which are fit for office wear..I personally wear Maybelline’s color sensational Crazy for Coffee, Autmun Rush, Lakme Enrich lipstick in shade 133 and colorbar matte lipsticks in shade Bare (a good nude shade) are good shades for office wear

  16. Anu, let me start by saying i may not have many specific names to tell. but I’d suggest you to look beyond browns especially.
    You are in FO so I feel it gives you more opportunities to experiment bold bright and fun colors (u can pair it with a neutral eye those times)
    Maybelline Color Sensational Yummy Plummy, Revlon Colorburst has some nice dark and fun shades too. I dont know about Colorbar but MAC’s Plumful, Girl about town, Amorous are great (am loving Zen rose from their Sheen Supreme range); Mix in some corals too (am sure there was another Ask IMBB for the same)
    Have fun – A girl can never have many lipsticks 😉

Maybelline brunette blush..is a perffect shade for ofc..i had gone to buy my mahagony but it didnt suit me that much so i got thie one..and i love the shade..infact i hav worn it on many interviews too…Also Chambor silk pop..its a bit bright coral-pink but i swipe it once dab with a tissue and apply again and dab dab with tissue..it leaves behind a beautiful stain…i never wore lipstick to ofc b4..but these nvr look OTT Also, NYX tea rose…i use in the same way that i use sik pop… :toothygrin: Hope it hepls..ohh and Chambor has one silk woods whoich is a brown shade…i have reviewed it on IMBB..u have to try CHambor lippies..they are awesome.. :yahoo:

    i hve noted down all the colors.. colorbar , maybelline are easily available …
    i saw swatches of “my mahagony” do u think it will make my wheatish complexion look more dull…
    i am frm kerala, precisely cochin.. anyone frm tht area ?? i jst want to know frm where to get lotus products… i read the review of lotus whiteglow gel.. i want to try tht…

  25. i recco chambor desert rose , its from their matte range, and it does need a balm underneath, but i prefer wearing mattes to office , they last long and look more formal.. on wheatish skin tone it is the perfect pink brown nude..
