Just because you are allowed to eat ice cream, you must not overeat it. Do not go for more than a scoop a day. You are not allowed to eat a big bar of chocolate ice cream daily just because the diet has “ice cream” in it. Opt for the low-fat ice creams available in the market. No sugar, diabetic variants are also good options as cutting off sugar is an excellent way to reduce weight. You can also have the ice cream after lunch instead of after dinner as eating sweet at night is not a healthy practice and can affect your sleep. Also, you can add fruits to the ice cream to make it healthy and prevent yourself from adding another scoop. For those who are lactose intolerant, coconut ice cream or soy milk ice cream are great alternative. Also, if you feel that you can do without the ice cream on a particular day, you can definitely do that.
