My Experience with Makeup Revolution Blow Your Whistle Mono Eyeshadow:
The packaging of the eye shadow is simple. It comes in a rectangular black pan that shuts tightly with a clear lid. The shade name and ingredients list both are mentioned at the base the pan. These tiny eye shadow pans are easy to carry during travelling. It does not look flimsy and it is lightweight. My never-ending love for purples has taken me to this eye shadow. Blow Your Whistle is a bright purple matte eyeshadow.
It is a gorgeous matte eye shadow, which is free from shimmers. The texture of this eyeshadow is soft and smooth, but powdery too. The formula is chalky. It causes a lot of fallouts. The eyeshadow is easy to apply and blends smoothly. It does not tug or pull the eyelids. The pigmentation is average. The colour looks too deep in the pan, but the exact colour does not show up upon applying one or two swipes.
The colour does not build up properly. Too many swipes give a light purple colour. The lovely matte purple eye shadow looks pretty on the eyes. The shade is little extravagant for daily use, but perfect for evening parties. The lasting power is 4 hours approx.. Overall, the eyeshadow is okayish. The shade is pretty, but powdery formula is disappointing.
