My Experience with Makeup Revolution Gave You All My Love Salvation Intense Lip Lacquer:
The packaging of this lip lacquer comes in a really beautiful and luxurious rose gold cardboard packaging. It contains the product description, ingredients and other details about the product. The lip lacquer tube is a simple cylindrical clear tube with a rose gold ring at its neck. The tube has a glossy black screw on type cap, that has an applicator attached to it. The applicator is typical doe foot type and made up soft foam. The tube is totally leak-proof and travel friendly.
These lip lacquers come with some very attractive names. This range has a few matte lip lacquers and some lovely glosses. This variant is basically a lip-gloss with a soft sheen. The shade is a light cool toned pink lip lacquer. This lip lacquer has slightly milky undertones, that make me look washed out. This pink lip lacquer will flatter very fairer skin tones. This shade is definitely not meant for my skin tone.
The gloss has silver shimmers in it. The shimmers are neither very fine nor too big or chunky. The shimmers do not look gaudy on the lips and adds a nice luster to the lips. The pigmentation of the lip lacquer is average and buildable. It requires 2-3 swipes to make the color pop. It nicely hides my pigmented lips and gives a perfect opaque finish. The lip-gloss sets to a soft glossy finish.
The texture of the lip lacquer is soft and smooth. It glides effortlessly on the lips without any dragging of the lips. It spreads smoothly all over the lips. The formula is lightweight and feels comfortable on the lips. The formula is non sticky and does not feel heavy on the lips even upon layering. The gloss has a mild and non-bothering vanilla fragrance. Being creamy in nature, the gloss has a tendency to transfer to mugs and cutlery. The lip lacquer stays at place without smudging. It does not crease and it does not feel drying on the lips. The formula is not hydrating but keeps my lips moisturized for long and do not make my lips feel dry.
The lasting power is impressive being a lip-gloss. It easily lasts for 4 hours or so on my lips without any light meals or drinking. While having a full meal, it gets vanished completely leaving those silver shimmers behind. The left out shimmers looks chunky on the lips. The shimmers can be taken off using a good makeup remover.Overall, the quality is fine but this particular shade is not meant for my skin tone.
