My Experience with Maybelline Colorsensational Berry Boost Vivid Matte Liquid:
Packaging: This liquid lip color comes in a square bottle which looks very fancy and pretty. It is not as big as regular lip gloss tube, but then a little bigger than the size of a lipstick. It has a see-through packaging which makes it really easy to spot the shade in the stash if you own a few of these. I can very well see the pretty magenta shade from the bottle. It has a long wand, the bristles are thick which help in gliding the liquid very smoothly and perfectly on my lips.
Shade: “Berry Boost” is a beautiful berry shade, it looks like a pretty magenta shade to me. It is one of the best pinks lip colors that I have seen and it is one shade that cannot be duped easily. The shade is versatile and would suit women of all age brackets and skin tones. In fact, this shade will complement Indian skin tones very well. It instantly lifts up my face and adds freshness to my face. It draws attention away from my imperfections as well. This shade is good to be worn during daytime as well as for evening parties. It’s a beautiful lip color to own.
Consistency and Finish: It’s thick, just like a lip gloss, which glides very smoothly on my lips. The liquid consistency keeps my lips hydrated throughout. It might bleed a bit but that isn’t very much noticeable. It does not settle into fine lines or cling to dry patches, but it does transfer since it is a liquid lipstick. The major disappointment was the claim that this is a matte lipstick. This gloss is not matte and does not turn matte at any point in the wear. It is glossy initially and then settles into a sheen.
Staying Power: This lip color stays on my lips for 4-5 hours with super pigmentation and glossiness in the initial hour. A lot of colour and glossiness goes away once I eat something. After 3 hours, it turns into a stain with sheen and there is always a pink colour on my lips till the time I remove it.

Yes, do try it if you like wearing liquid lipsticks, this range has some beautiful shades, so give it a shot, but if you –want a pure matte lipstick, skip this one. I wish Maybelline comes out with some nice matte liquid lipsticks just like the Chambor transfer-proof ones!
