MUA Lipstick in Shade 16 – Nectar
Hello Lovelies,
Today I am here with my HG brand MUA. I love their shades, and their ability to tempt us by that huge collection of beautiful lip colors and shadows a girl could dream of, and that too so pocket friendly. Today I am reviewing a lipstick in shade Nectar. Yes, they have both – name and number.
Product Description: Girls, there is nothing better than lipstick. Apart from maybe lipstick that costs just £1! Ok definitely lipstick that costs just £1. Don’t say we’re not good to you. Our amazing lipsticks come in 16 shades from red to pink and nude and are packed full of pigmentation. With just one swipe you’ll have fantastic color pay off resulting in gorgeous lips! Why not pick a shade you’ve not tried before and get a new look? It is just £1 after all…..did we really mention that.
Price: £ 1 (obviously you have heard that thrice already).
Packaging: The packaging is nothing very fancy but resembles the NYX round lip color. The lipstick comes in a simple black plastic tube, with a tiny detachable pot of lipstick at the bottom, exactly the same shade as in the bullet. The lipstick is very soft and is prone to breakage. So be careful when you carry it in extreme hot climates.
My Take on MUA Lipstick in Shade 16- Nectar
Color, Texture & Pigmentation: The shade nectar is warm peachy coral shade with brown & neutral undertones to it. It’s more on the peachy nude brown side, rather than pink. It’s a perfect warm toned peachy shade with no whitish or light undertone to it, which makes it a perfect n*de shade lipstick, for everyone.
The texture of the lipstick is creamy soft and smooth, it glides like a butter on lips. It feels very light on lips, without feeling heavy or sticky. It has a glossy finish to it and feels very moisturizing on lips, almost like a lip balm and doesn’t feel a bit dry up to the time I wear it on.
The pigmentation & color pay-off is excellent and it gives full opaque coverage in one swipe. Even for pigmented lips, one swipe of the lipstick is enough.
Staying Power: This lipstick being on the creamy side, doesn’t stay long, it stays on me for just 2- 2.5 hours without any eating or drinking, after eating it goes off from the inner lips and color stays on the edges of lips.

Cons of MUA Lipstick Shade 16 – Nectar
• The bullet is very soft, hence is prone to breakage and melting.
• The staying power is limited upto 2- 2.5 hours, without any eating or drinking.
• Settles in fine lines of lips.
• Being so creamy, transfer into surfaces.
• Contains Parabens.
Yes, for recommending &buying it. It’s a lovely shade for everyday wear, a perfect neutral shade a girl would want. Ignore the limited staying power, otherwise it’s a perfect lipstick for everyone, especially the shade, I am in love with it. I’ll definitely buy the other shades in this range.
Last Words for MUA lipstick in Nectar: The lipstick is a packet of blasts. The pigmentation & color pay-off is excellent and it glides smoothly like butter on lips, so creamy and really moisturizing till it lasts. The shade is nice warm toned peachy coral shade, will suit almost everyone and perfect for everyday wear, if you want that n*de lip look.
IMBB Rating: 4.5/5. I am ignoring the staying power and just thinking about the shade, texture & pigmentation.
