Summer Cotton Dress on a Sunny Summer Day
Hello Loulies!
After a lot of pondering I have finally thought of sharing my first OOTD post with you all here. These pictures are clicked in Dubai Creek Park some time ago on a really bright and sunny day, as you already know how blistering hot Dubai day hours are. It makes it all the more apparent in the pictures.
I went with a friend who’s an amateur photographer and was learning the trick and trade of photography so he asked me if I’d like to be his model for a day and that OMG! moment came and I abruptly said, WHY NOT !!!???
Who among us doesn’t like to be clicked thru a professional camera? Isn’t it.
In fact I loved the photo shoot so much that I instantly made up my mind you buy myself a DSLR post my return to India, and guess what, I even did ☺
I quickly had to get ready, so I chose to clad myself in something cotton and comfortable, in a jiffy I dressed myself this cute yellow and brown dress I picked up from Colaba Causeway in Mumbai on one of my work visits.
I teamed it up with my favorite fashion accessory ‘the owl’ which was such a high pick some time back. Well the owl neckpiece is a passé now and lots of other animals and birds are importing from the zoo in the junk jewelry market 😉
Irritated with the fuming hot weather I preferred to make a hair bun, and put on my hat. I knew I am going to wear my hat so I did try much with the hair in hurry.
No Makeup! Yes no makeup at all apart than the basic sunscreen and a little bit of kohl.
It is one of the most effortless dressings I could say of my many such hurry dress up experiences.
Hope you enjoyed the outfit and the pictures. I am extremely nervous for this to go air. I would seek suggestions and feedback from all of you.
