Outfit of the Day: Anarkali and Swarovski Heels
Hello to all! How’s everyone doing? 😀
I am back quickly, but this time, with a twist! Today, I bring an Indian outfit look. The wedding season is on, and I happen to be attending a few this month. Watch this space for a few more ethnic looks, but here goes the first one! Enjoy! 😀
This suit was a love-at-first-sight! Not only for the fairly color-blocked embroidery, this one had me swooning after its ghera. See, in the picture below, how it almost blooms below the waist?
I matched the jewelry with the ruby colors of the embroidery, the pearl work and the emerald color stones.
The suit was pretty much complete when I bought it. I only added the tassels on the dupatta, keeping in mind the silver tone of the suit.
I was on a hunt for silver sky-high heels for this suit. I waited for almost a month till this unexpectedly-worthy purchase happened. Although the Swarovski stones troubled me a little initially, I felt they were a tad too blingy for my liking; the ruby-color heels, matched perfectly with the tone of the suit, and I decided to pick them up.
Thank God I did, because these are my most comfortable high heels EVER! I wore them for almost 8 hours, and I could still run in them. It was like I was wearing flats.

Hi..looking gorgeous Atika! A query regd. the heels..are these from the store called stillatoes located in sarojini/lajpat nagar? Its real tough to find such high heels which r comfy as well 🙂

Lol! The shoes are not from the jewelry store Swarovski. They are from a shoe-store in Lajpat Nagar, called Stilettos. I was talking about the Swarovski stones on the shoes. 🙂
