My Experience with Palmer’s Olive Oil Formula Olive Butter Lotion:
The body lotion comes packed in a translucent, curvy bottle which is easy to handle and helps to keep track of the quantity present as well. I am not sure if there are bigger sizes available while this one is pretty convenient and spill proof. A flip open cap at the top gives access to the lotion. Owing to the consistency of the product there is no fear of the lotion flowing out uncontrollably.
The lotion bears a mild fragrance which will suit everyone. Owing to its creamy yet easy to spread consistency, it is can be massaged on large areas in a jiffy. Within a few seconds, the lotion gets absorbed and leaves no residue behind. Unlike what is expected from an oil-based body lotion, the finish this gives is absolutely non-sticky. In fact, it is apt for every day even if someone is running late to work. After all, it gets absorbed almost instantly and does not stain the clothes or feel heavy.
The formula has some amazing ingredients which are evident from the performance of the lotion. Once applied, the moisturizing effect stays all day long. This might sound like any other quick absorbing body lotion but the hydration the latter provides is inadequate for my dry skin. After an eight hour shift in air-conditioned rooms, I used to return with dry and itchy skin. However, this lotion has helped me prevent the same. If I apply this lotion once in a day, I am sorted even after a long day at work. In fact, this lotion is well balanced to suit all skin types and ages.
There are a few limitations as well. It works completely fine for the whole day but the next day the skin gets back to what it was without the product. It may be same for most lotions and this is no different. Also, the hydration may not be enough during extreme winters. At such a time when the skin is already very dry and dehydrated, this body lotion might need reapplication more frequently. Lastly, the price tag this bears is somewhat on the higher side but overall I consider this a good purchase.
