Revlon has launched its now range of face illuminators called Revlon Age Defying Spa Face Illuminator
Price : Rs 850
There are two shades available in this :
- 101 Bare light – For ones who have yellow undertones in their skin.
- 020 Pink light – For ones who have pink undertones.
These come up with cute brushes but I wonder if these could be used . You would probably have to wash them after every use or else the left out product would dry between the bristles . It’s quite gross that ways.
Anyway, these have SPF 18 and are oil free. The tubes have a twist on and off button kind of a thing. Like you twist tmem to “on” and the product would come out and “off” to close the tube.
According to Revlon : Can be worn alone or with foundation. Turn brush arrow to “on” position and squeeze tube to dispense. For all over face, sweep onto skin starting in the center of your face, forehead and chin blending outward and down. To highlight, sweep onto cheekbones and browbone. • Synthetic brush is washable with soap and water (make sure to turn the valve to “off” before washing the brush)

In India, we have got only two shades but otherwise the website shows 4 shades in the range. If you want to use them all over the face, probably none of the shade would match most Indian skin tones. But these could very well be used as highlighters. And best, they are oil free.
Theer is a sheen to it but nothing glittery or shimmery.
I might be wrong but these are just Revlon Skinlights in a different packaging.
Honestly, I quite liked them because I like that dewy finish in my foundations but I think these are expensive for a drugstore brand. But we don’t have any other option as well…
- Maybelline – No
- Lakme – No
- Beyu – Yes but then why not Revlon?
- L’oreal– I don’t know .

I am yet to try the skin highlights by Revlon…it looks quite bulky though…how did the highlights work for you Rati?
They work pretty fine. I mean I have a dry skin no so anything shiny doesn’t look greasy one me.

I hv revlon skinlights and the shade does suit me fine…I find the price of even skinlights on the higher side n this one is even more expensive

Btw, Gaea..you threw away the TBS Illuminating fluid? It works perfect with matte foundations like Maxfactor Age Defying..gives skin a lovely glow.
