Hope you all are having Monsoon Fun. Today, I am going to review an eye primer, so let’s see what it says.
Minimise Imperfection and makeup stay on for longer with Revlon PhotoReady Eye Primer + Brightener.
I was quite happy when I purchased this as I was going to try an eye primer for the first time. Let’s see whether it made me happy or sad, so here it goes.
Smoothes, perfects and brightens eye area by reducing the appearance of fine lines and crease on lids…use anytime, anywhere on face as a brightening ‘pick me up’
Directions To Use:
To Prime: Apply under eyes and on bare eyelids.
To Brighten: Apply under eyes to inner/outer corners of eyes, or anywhere on face instantly brighten.
My Take on Revlon PhotoReady Eye Primer + Brightener:
This primer comes in a twist pen stick form, twist the bottom and primer comes out on the brush. The consistency is smooth and creamy. This product comes in only one shade that is somewhat like peachy-pink type, so does not suit dusky skin beauties. I personally think it’s an okay product. This product failed at the brightening part, it does not brighten and conceal. This contains visible shimmer in it and some of you may not like that shimmer part.
I found it difficult to apply the product with the primer brush whereas it is much easier to apply it with fingers. As an eye shadow primer base, it is not suitable as you end up with messy eyes. I use this primer on the face on dark spots. Overall, I am not happy with my purchase.
Pros of Revlon PhotoReady Eye Primer + Brightener:
- Smooth and creamy texture.
- Oil free, talc free, fragrance free and paraben free.
- No smell.
Cons of Revlon PhotoReady Eye Primer + Brightener:
- Available in one shade only.
- Not suitable for oily eyelids.
- Does not last long.
- Failed in its claims.
Will I Repurchase Revlon PhotoReady Eye Primer + Brightener?
