I have bought a party dress having white laced blouse and mint colored ruffled skirt. It is a bit short to wear at more conservative dos. Can you suggest stockings that would go well with it. I want to avoid outlandish neon things. Also, something that makes legs appear lean. Also, please suggest footwear which would match it.

Since you’re saying your skirt is mint colored, I suggest you buy white peep toes, pumps or wedges and you could also pair them with black pantyhose and black pumps.
I’d say white stockings since the blouse is white and skirt is mint colored.. usually white and mint looks awesome and if you are planning to wear stockings ballerinas or peep toes or heeled mary janes would look gorgeous..

White/Off white patterned stockings would go well with your dress. As for shoes, try to avoid heels ’cause heels with minis look kinda skanky. If you must wear heels then wedges are a safer option. Ballet pumps, gladiators, T straps etc are good to wear with minis.
