My Experience with Essence long lasting eye pencil Cool down:

I absolutely love colored eyeliners and want then in each and every shade. They add a bright pop of color instantly to eyes. Today I am reviewing one from essence in the shade cool down which I have been using since quite long now. The eye pencil comes in a twist up packaging in same color as the particular shade; in this case it is a medium blue. I prefer this more over the sharpening ones as I am really lazy and also they are so soft, while sharpening there would be a lot of product wastage. The cap is tight and pencil is small and travel friendly. The shade is a beautiful blue color; I like how it is a pure blue and not leaning towards a turquoise shade. All skin tones can carry this shade with ease. It is not shimmery and has a satin finish.

The texture is very smooth and glides on like butter with absolutely no tugging at all. The pigmentation is good but not at par with other essence liners. To get complete color pay off I have to swipe it twice. I just love the formula of these; they are so smooth and can be smudged within a minute after applying. After which they set completely, once set they don’t budge and become completely smudge proof, it is a boon for me as I have oily lids, and after a few hours all pencil start smudging, but this one stays on.

It is long lasting and lasts for around 5 hours on my waterline after that it starts fading, and on my oily eyelid it lasts for 8- 9 hours. Even after that when it fades, there is no flaking at all, it smudges a bit. After splashing water on my face and eyes it stays on, it is completely water resistant. I have sensitive eyes and it has never made my eyes watery unlike other I pencils. In all I love these eye pencils, they are retractable, last for hours on my eyes, they are so smooth, come in a range of colors and their price is like cherry on cake.
