Hope you all had a great Diwali. I have been too consumed with daughters school work, as well as on and off volunteering. I am glad to see the new point based system at IMBB. It is a great opportunity for all and more motivation to write regularly. 🙂 Today, I am here with a shampoo review which I had to buy to get rid of another shampoo, remember the Pantene fiasco? 😛

Price and Quantity:
$5.49 for 32 oz. (946ml)
How to use:
The packaging is simple and the regular TRESemme type, nothing fancy at all. The shampoo is clear with a pale green tint, that’s hardly visible and mild herbal tea smell (not strong).
My Experience with Tresemme Vitamin C Deep Cleansing Shampoo:
I have frizzy hair and that is a strong enough reason to stay away from harsh cleansing shampoos. But since Pantene ne meri watt lagayi …I had no other option. I brought this to cleanse the build-up and have been pleasantly surprised by the results so far.
I generally wet my hair and then take ample amount of shampoo, as directed on the bottle to layer on my hairs and then lather it. The after effect is clearly visible, as I can feel the heaviness washed away. I later use a good conditioner on the ends of my hair. This gives softness to my hair.
The only problem is since I have coloured my hairs this seems to wash away some of it, so I try not to use this more than 2 times a week.
The smell does not linger for long, that’s good because I do not appreciate shampoos doing the job of perfumes.
One last thing is if I leave my hair without conditioner after washing with this shampoo it makes my hair super frizzy like cotton candy…so mind it!!! At least make sure to use a leave in conditioner.
Pros of Tresemme Vitamin C Deep Cleansing Shampoo:
- Deep cleans built up hairs.
- Non irritating on scalp.
- Gives volume.
Cons of Tresemme Vitamin C Deep Cleansing Shampoo:
- Can make hairs frizzy if used too regularly.
- Too big and bulky bottle (it can replace your dumbbells LOL)
IMBB Rating: 4/5
