UAE gets its own Birchbox – The Glambox!
Hello Ladies,
Excited with the title? Well, even I am. Now I don’t need to explain what a Birchbox is! UAE gets its own Birchbox in the name of Glambox. Glambox will basically give you sample products from brands like Kiehl’s, Lancome, Elizabeth Arden and all the interesting and tempting brands.
They have a subscription system for 3 months, 6 months and a year. You need to pay 150 AED for the 3 month subscription through paypal or credit card.
January Subscriptions are still open and you can subscribe for them HERE.
The only issues I found, was that people who don’t have a credit card or paypal account may not be able to subscribe for this box of joys, just like me. I do not shop with my paypal or credit card, ONLINE. ( I have a whole list of issues :P).
Other than this Glambox should have had a 1 month subscription too, since this would let people decide about continuing the service and get to know more about the products.
I would also like, if they had a Cash On Delivery option for people like me who do not use credit cards online.
Overall Glambox is a nice concept and would certainly be a hit, if they had a better PR and customer service for answering the queries and requirements of the customers. A bad customer service may hinder the popularity of this wonderful concept.
I see alot of women embracing it already and almost all of us are very excited.
I have no exact information about the size of the products though. I will surely update if at all I am updated and detailed about the same. 🙂
So now the question is how many of you are subscribing up this service? What brands would you like to see in your Glambox? Do you think a month’s subscription would help?
I’ve signed up for it already! And I agree with the monthly subscription option.. It would really help those unsure about signing up long-term. I would love to see Benefit, Laura Mercier and La Prairie products in future boxes…

Hi Zeeba, we are getting India’s version of birchboxex. Two such services with names Blisscovered (INR 700 per month) and Lushbox are starting out and maybe we will get good samples.

Urrm not really but i did leave a question on their facebook page asking them about the delivery date and the last date for subscribing and they said they shall be delivering very soon.
Also the last day was yesterday until midnight (:

they are spreading up in the middle east soon, for the moment they are just in UAE. 🙂 They will comes to Kuwait sooooooonnn
