What the product claims:
Introduced in 2004, Paradiso Inferno Pink by Benetton is a casual but complex fragrance for women. The scent is a heavily floral one with top notes of lemon and orange to give it a slightly sweet, citrusy opening. The perfume soon dries down, however, to reveal floral middle notes of ylang-ylang and rose coming to the forefront and supported on a base of cedar and musk. Once applied, the scent provides you with a full day’s or evening’s wear.
My experience with United Colors of Benetton Inferno Paridiso Pink EDT:
I think you all already might have guessed that I am a perfume junkie! I love to add new fragrances to my collection. And this is my most recent and favourite addition. I had been eyeing this fragrance since my sister got it as a birthday gift from one of her friends. I smelled it back then and I loved it so much that I wanted to get it ever since. And I finally found it when I went to the Benetton store here. I literally jumped when I saw it. 😛
So you all can guess how much I love this fragrance. This scent is a very fresh and clean one. It is very citrusy yet floral at the same time and it is perfect for summers. It opens up with a burst of citrus. And yes the lemon and orange are definitely there. These two notes give the perfume a totally new dimension. After a few minutes of opening the ylang ylang comes into play. I don’t smell that much of rose though. And once the fragrance dries down you can smell a nice amalgamation of cedar, musk with a hint of ylang ylang and and lemons but the musk isn’t overpowering at all. I think this is what makes this fragrance so unique it is floral and citrusy and woody all at the same time. It is so vivid.
The staying power and sillage of the perfume is very good. It stays on me for a good 8 hours and then it fades a little but you can still smell it the entire day. This scent is one of those that can actually lift up your mood. To me, this fragrance is very calming. And this one is very similar to the D&G Light Blue as my friend has the D&G one and she says that she would switch to this one as it is so similar and cheaper than hers. Overall I would say that this is a very unique smell that manages to be both citrus-y yet floral at the same time and is perfect for summers.
Pros of United Colors of Benetton Inferno Paridiso Pink EDT:
• Great scent.
• Citrusy yet floral.
• Great sillage.
• Good staying power.
• Not very expensive.
• Similar to D&G Light Blue.
Cons of United Colors of Benetton Inferno Paridiso Pink EDT:
