Today I am going to review a very beautiful, and my recent favorite lipstick shade from Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick range, it’s the shade Anarchy. When I went to the store to buy this shade I had two shades in my mind but as soon as I tried Anarchy on me I knew that I am taking this home with me.
Product Claims:Urban Decay’s Pigment Dispersion System™ gives Revolution Lipstick its super creamy texture, intense pigmentation, superior color dispersion, and extended wear. Maxi-Lip™ defines and hydrates lips while making them look plumper and fuller. And a nourishing blend of jojoba oil, avocado oil, cocoa butter and shea butter keeps lips super moisturized and cushiony soft. The luxe, custom-designed gunmetal tube (lined in Urban Decay’s signature dark purple) looks so gorgeous, you’ll want to keep pulling it out of your bag.

My Experience with Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick Anarchy:
As I said,Anarchy is a beautiful shade which you would love to own. It’s a bright Fuchsia pink which looks so hot in the bullet. This is a gorgeous shade, hot is the word for it. It instantly brightens up the face, and uplifts the mood. However it is not a shade one can wear every day, though you would love too :PMany times the blue based shades like this one do not suit well on yellow undertones Indian skin, but Anarchy does justice to Indian skin tone. I was looking for a perfect Fuchsia shade for myself for very long and Anarchy fits the bill perfectly. I just love this shade and how it looks on me. Though I don’t get to wear this very often, as it looks very bold for my work space, but I wear it as and when I get a chance. It’s a bright shade which looks equally stunning in the day and night time. I can see myself wearing this shade a lot in the coming days, and it will compliment my ethnic and western both looks very well. 😀
UD revolution lipstick has very creamy texture and the color payoff is so good that just one swipe is enough to cover highly pigmented lips too. It glides effortlessly even on dry lips, using a lip balm underneath is not mandatory. It is very creamy and soft to apply still lasts 8+ hours on me. It survives meals and drinks, and it fades evenly and leaves a gorgeous pink stain behind, which I like. Generally, long wearing lipsticks are drying in nature but not this one. It is hydrating and still lasts all day long. The formula looks heavy to look at but it feels very light on lips. On the flip side, it is not transfer proof which means you will see your lipstick on every cup, glass and spoon you use 😛 But that’s not a big issue.
The packaging looks very classy, it comes in rosy metallic case which has some pattern on it. UD is printed on top of the cap and on the bottom, the shade name sticker is placed. The bullet is not the usual pointy shape, but it is easy to use. This lipstick is totally fragrance free which is added advantage for sensitive noses. I highly recommend this to girls looking for a bright Fuchsia lipstick, its long wearing and it is very creamy. This is the perfect Fuchsia, so look no further and go get it.
