I am back again with a Victoria’s Secret review and there are three more in pipeline. The sexy and feminine fragrances of Victoria’s Secret have taken a toil on me these days. After the bombshell body mist and lotion I bring to you the bombshell body wash. FYI the bombshell range is available as individual units and as a gift pack as well. You all must be aware how chic their gift pack bags are! I have two of them, one in brown and the other is coral and I absolutely adore both of them!

Coming to the body wash, I don’t spend luxuriously on them. The maximum being TBS, nothing more than that. But since I was buying the whole bombshell range, this body wash came along.

PRICE: somewhere between $ 8-11 for 100ml/3.4 fl oz

Packaging: The packaging is exactly similar to that of the body lotion except that this tube is translucent while the lotion tube was opaque. I love the light pink tube with candy pink cap. It’s pretty, girly and is an eye candy sitting on your shower rack.

My Experience with Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Body Wash:

In my opinion, the body washes from luxury brands are more about their fragrance because the cleansing and moisturizing property is provided very well by our dove and nivea ones as well. I have already written twice about the bombshell fragrance but if you missed those reviews, let me tell you these are the most fresh and lively fragrance I’ve used till date. It’s a blend of purple passion fruit, Shangri-la peony and vanilla orchid. I don’t know about the latter two but the body wash gives off a strong fragrance of passion fruit initially when you take it on the loofah. It’s a perfect companion for summers as the fresh and clean fragrance fills you with energy. The lasting power of the body wash alone is not quite impressive, it disappears by the time you dress up but when the body wash, lotion and mist is used in conjugation, the result is definitely amplified by multifolds.

The body wash is transparent and quite runny in consistency. You would need a loofah or washcloth to spread. If you’re a person who needs loaaads of foam while bathing (like me), you’ll be disappointed. If I compare its lathering capacity to dove or nivea, its doesn’t even reach half way to them! But yes if you’re used to TBS, the lather might convince you.

It cleanses your skin really well and doesn’t leaves behind that irritating slippery film. I simply hate it when I have to waste gallons of water to get away with the slippery residue. Since it’s meant for summers, the moisturizing property of this body wash is nill. You need a lotion immediately after the shower.

Pros of Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Body Wash:

• Refreshing, clean and subtle fragrance ( it fills you with instant energy after the early morning summer shower)
• Doesn’t leave behind the slippery residue
• Adorable little tube packaging
• Travel friendly

Cons of Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Body Wash:

• The fragrance is not long lasting
• Not suitable for dry skin
• Can be used only in summers. Even normal skinned people like me need something comforting and creamy in winters.
• Expensive for a body wash!
• Availability! Unlike other VS products which are available in stores selling imported stuff or Indian shopping sites, this one is available only in exclusive VS stores or international shopping sites.

Do I recommend it?

There’s no point in trying it out unless you’re buying the whole bombshell gift pack. If you’re buying the range individually, I would suggest you to go for the mist and lotion and skip the body wash.

Will I buy it?

No! though I love the fragrance, that’ll be sufficed by the mist.
