My Experience with VLCC Saffron and Blackberry Face Scrub:
The packaging is basic but good enough for the price. It comes in a pretty pink and white tube packaging, which is easy to carry. The cap is tight enough and shuts with a click. The packaging has a lot of product-related information, including claims, usage, ingredients etc. Sadly, I didn’t check the packaging before buying and ended up with this paraben-loaded scrub.
This is a cream-based scrub. It contains two different kinds of scrubbing beads and smells a little like saffron. The fragrance is kind of artificial and I do not like it at all. Even though the beads are quite tiny, they do not dissolve upon scrubbing. So, I am not sure how safe they’re for the environment. The scrub glides easily on the skin and scrubbing with this one is quite easy. Since this is a creamy scrub, it does not dry out the skin but it does not make it greasy either. Washing it off is also quite easy.
This scrub cleanses my skin and keeps it hydrated. My skin looks radiant for around a day and then it becomes dull again. This is a fairness scrub and I have not seen any changes in my complexion. Also, it cannot remove blackheads or lighten blemishes, which is quite contrary to what the brand claims.
Overall, I do not think there’s anything special about this product. It boasts of having good ingredients but it cannot really do anything positive for the skin. It is an average scrub which cleanses the skin and removes dead skin but it does not deliver any added benefits. So can try it if you’re looking for a cheap scrub but there are many other affordable scrubs which work better for all skin types.
Pros of VLCC Saffron and Blackberry Face Scrub:

- Does not dry out the skin.
- Not too harsh on the skin.
- Scrubbing granules exfoliate well.
- Makes skin soft, clean and clear.
Cons of VLCC Saffron and Blackberry Face Scrub:
- No fairness or brightness.
- This artificial scent irritates me.
- Cannot remove blackheads.
- Parabens.
