Hello IMBB friends…Summer is here which means all the heavy lipsticks and glosses go out and light supple lip stains and lip balms are in. Summer is all about effortless makeup and long wearing one too. I have serious oily skin and I live in a very humid place, so anything long wearing and long staying has a special place in my heart – and drawer too! I always lean more towards long wear and multi purpose makeup in summers.

What is it? Shade: E127 A stiff pink : is a bright cool-toned pink.

My take on Wet n Wild Megaslicks Balm Stain Moisturizing Lip Colour – A Stiff Pink

This product comes in six lovely shades. This one “A stiff pink” can be best described as a bright candy pink. Packaging wise, it is a twist up large pencil with a clear top that snaps well. The outer color of the pencil is the same as the color of the crayon inside. Wet n Wild has always been one of my favorite drugstore brands because of their super awesome quality and really affordable prices. These came out recently (at the right time I must say ;)) and I immediately snagged a few. Let me confess, I was not hoping a lot out of this baby but this really bowled me over. It is a perfect blue based pink and looks really refreshing and put together. It stayed on me all day through sweat and heat and endless lemonade. The best part is : it does not have that chemically taste or smell so it does not bother the senses. have shine to them and the more intense colors especially do leave behind a lip stain, though it’s uneven looking.

Also they twist up from the bottom, so no sharpening required.It applies very easily and evenly, and it glides across the lips with ease , without tugging or pulling the lips. It applies quite nicely and I’d say it’s semi opaque – but still sheer. It seems moisturizing at first but then as it fades, it leaves a lovely stain behind which lasts for more than 4 hours on me. I love how I can just smear it on me in the car and I’m good to go 😉 I also tried to rub it on my fingers and dab along the cheeks (or eye lids) for a flushed look. Also, the crayon packaging is easy to travel with and won’t melt even if left alone in the car.

– They should come up with more shades : like oranges/browns etc
– The stains left can be patchy and uneven.
– They are not overly drying but I’d still say : moisturize and scrub the lips before.
