I have a tip that a lot of other might already know, but I’ll share it anyway – your lasher appear glossier and seem thicker and grow longer if you apply oil to them. Caster oil is especially good, but this can cause stinging sensations if it gets into the eyes, so little oil and apply carefully. Coconut oil or almond oil are also said to be good for this.
Ame, I have used olive on my lashes for years and I have seen my lashes grow. It’s an excellent tip. 🙂

i have small eyes, so this is wat i do to make my small eyes stand out more.
I keep my line thin and avoid uniformly lining the entire eye. This makes the eye look smaller. Rather I keep the liner concentrated along the outer third of my eye and extend it slightly up beyond the corner to lift and open up d eyes. I also avoid using a dark, overpowering shade of liner. This gives your eyes that extra pop.

Nice giveaway! Too bad I can’t join! But I actually suck in applying false lashes.
I tried it once and it was a mess! Then I got it done in a beauty salon and after
weeks the lashes still wouldn’t come off, I liked it because it was beautiful but
it was getting heavy for my eye lids. Eventually I got it off with Vaseline.
Quite some work and lost a few lashes but all in all I would def try false eye lashes
again, it just gives this great glance!

hey rati i tried in to send u this tip but unfortunately culdnt as my little daughter dumped a cup of coffe on my laptop so the tip is u can make ur lipstick last longer by first applying a coat of lip balm nd then grab the colour u want to apply on ur wrist nd dabb it on ur lips . this will make ur lipstick last longer.Nd luv the lashes

Hey Rati, here’s my tip…..Fresh Coconut water can instantly freshen up tired eyes and can be used an eyewash to sooth dry eyes caused by long hours before the compu. 🙂

I guess i have already told you this but my lil tip is if you heat your eyelash curler with your hair dryer and then curl your lashes the curl stays on for hours. Some people are afraid of it but its nothing, you don’t have to make your curler smoking hot just a lil hot.
One thing i want to know from you guys is that can i use gel eyeliner on my waterline..?? please say YES..!!
I actually tried it once and it looked great and dint felt uncomfortable at all.. but still was thinking of asking you guys..!!

Don’t use gel liner on your waterline, it’s not safe. Only kohls should be used on waterline.

I like to apply grated raw potato on my eyes, it helps reduce puffiness. Also, massaging the under eye area *very* lightly with pure almond oil helps reduce dark circles over time. Patience is key though.

I have never used the gel . The cream works great for me. Errr… now I am two minds about it. 🙁

MASCARA APPLICATION –
Remove the wand from the tube in one pull. Pumping the Mascara will push air into the tube, potentially drying out the formula and introducing bacteria into it.

ok, some other tips are:
1. using kohl to line the ‘upper’ waterline! My eyelashes are quite sparse… this trick makes my lashes look thicker and more luscious!
2. After applying nailpolish, soak your nails in ice cold water for about 10 seconds. This will help in drying it out fast!
I have never been able to use kohl on my upper waterline. I just apply kajal on my lower waterline and the close my eye tight. this way I am able to transfer kajal on my upper lashes as well. Which kohl do you use?
not a regular follower of any kohl… through years i’ve tried maybelline unstoppable, revlon colorstay etc These two dont smudge so I don’t end up looking like a panda 😛
The kohl in the lower waterline washes away sooner. So after some time, if the kohl is not that good you might be left with no colour at all. If you line your upper waterline, everytime you blink, the colour is transferred to the lower waterline. .
yeah gell liner is the best to put on u waterline Its my pesonal experience it works best :-)) :-))

My tip is : The best way to keep your foundation working for hours in summers is to rub your face with an ice cube 5 mins before applying anything and then dab with a towel. This will refresh the skin and will not get sweaty in summers.
That’s a lovely tip and it will also close your pores giving a smooth finish to the foundation. I will make sure I do this on my bad skin days. 😛
I am not a regular foundation user but i love to rub ice on my face.. i do that a lot..!!
I also sometimes freeze 40%toner or rose water and 60% water mixture and then use those ice cubes.. they are so refreshing.. specially n this scorching summers..!!

Rati what i do is i make a mixture of 40%toner and 60%water and then put it in ice cube trays and freeze that mixture and when im going out i just rub those ice cubes on my skin.. this shrinks my pores excellently and also gives me smooth skin for foundation application.!!

For people with oily skin who want to use fix+ or rosewater to set their make up: spray your face with fix+ or rose water and dry it with a hair dryer on the lowest setting. This may not be good for your skin on a regular basis but for a function or party, it’ll set your make up like a DREAM :))

make up tip: make a paste with orange peel powder and rose water .Apply it on your face and leave on till it dries .Now,wet ur face a little with water . massage ur face for 5 mins and then wash with water. It makes ur skin glow and the massaging scrubs off the dead cells.

if you think that your lashes are sparse..after applying your black liner..tighline your top lash line with an eyeliner pencil or kajal [i use Shahanas Hussein kajal]this will make your lashes appear thicker…

and By the by …i saw that urmi wrote my same tip so here is something new…to get an angular wing while lining your eyes you can use normal scotch tape and apply a small piece from the end of your natural bottom lashline and stick it in the angle you want and then draw close to it…you will have a guide and you can mess up the bottom part too but after you take the tape off it will be perfectly sharp.
To minimize the chances of makeup irritating your eyes when you’re wearing your lenses,apply your makeup after inserting ur lenses. u must use waterproof eye makeup and it must be hypo-allergenic.

apply conditioner on towel dry hair after shampoo …. as totally drippy wet hair cant take the moister from conditioner… rinse off with cold water….
