Yves Rocher Jardins Du Monde Soft Shower Cream Review

One fine day, I was feeling a bit down. I sat down, started browsing online beauty shops and ended up buying more than three body washes plus some makeup products. That felt great! 😉 This shower cream is also a part of that mini haul, and here is the review. 🙂

My Experience with Yves Rocher Jardins Du Monde Soft Shower Cream:

The packaging is quite handy and won’t leak during travels, but the outlet isn’t really thoughtful. A bit of the product always ends up getting dispensed each time and I have to clean the mouth of the bottle to keep it clean. Other than this, I do not have any issue with the packaging.

This is the “Indian Cotton Flower” variant and I do not really know what it smells like. The shower cream, though, has a very mild and sweet fragrance. It is so mild that you cannot even detect it unless you really poke your nose into the packaging. 😀 It goes without saying, the fragrance doesn’t last long on my skin. Wish it were stronger and more prominent because that’s how I like my body products.

The shower cream itself is very soft and creamy. One look at it and you can guess how moisturising and softening it is. I take some amount on the loofah and massage it on my body. It lathers really well and even rinses out quickly. As a result, my skin feels soft, smooth, moisturised and, of course, clean. Skin doesn’t feel greasy or sticky at all, which is another plus.

Even though winter is nowhere near, my skin has already started to feel a bit dry, but I can easily skip my moisturiser if I have used this shower cream. My skin doesn’t feel extra dry or stretchy for many hours after the bath. But if your skin is too dry, you might like to apply a moisturising lotion after your shower.

Overall, I do not really have any complaints with this shower cream. It does its job pretty well and actually softens the skin. Still, I might not like to get it again because I would prefer something with a stronger, more invigorating fragrance. That’s a personal choice, though. 🙂
