Product Description:
Since Zoe Boikou first discovered the lack of quality make-up brushes available on the market (that didn’t cost the earth, that is), ZOEVA’s cosmetic tools have been filling the missing gaps in our beauty bags. The rounded, fluffy (and vegan) bristles of the 111 Petit Face Finish brush make it perfect for evenly blending liquid, cream and powder-based products into your skin, while the small size is able to reach those more difficult areas.

My Experience with Zoeva Petit Face Finish Brush 111:

Zoeva Petit Face Finish Brush 111 is black and silver in color. It’s also available in rose gold and bamboo combination, but since most of my makeup brushes are black in color, I wanted to stay with the same color theme. The brush comes packed in a zipper bag which is convenient to store the brush in when you are travelling. It’s not a fancy pouch but serves the purpose. The bristles are of Taklon fiber (common name for a synthetic fiber). The positive thing about synthetic fiber is that its devoid of any protein component or allergic element. It also makes this brush vegan and allergy free. This is not the case with makeup brushes that are made with animal hair.

The taklon bristles in this brush are black and white in color. The handle of the brush is stout and provides a good grip during application.

Zoeva Petit Face Finish Brush 111 has bristles arranged in an oval shape. The bristles are extremely soft and feel wonderful against the skin. The tip of the brush is slightly tapered, making it perfect to reach small areas on the face. I would like to use such brushes to apply loose powder under the eye area or on the T-Zone. One can control the amount of product the bristles pick up. I usually use the tip to pick up very little powder and work with it. It’s the advantage of this brush unlike kabuki brushes. If you dip a kabuki brush into the makeup powder, it’  difficult to see if it’s touching the powder or not and how much amount of product the brush is picking up and you need to tap the excess off before using it on the face.

I have used this brush to remove the powder while baking face. You can slightly sweep out the excess powder without moving the foundation underneath. You can also use this brush for blush application. I would not prefer to use it for cream blushes as the bristles are soft and delicate and wouldn’t be able to provide the needed spread, but with powder products, Zoeva Petit Face Finish Brush 111 works well.
