Banjara’s Fresh Fruit Face Pack

Banjara’s Fresh Fruit Face Pack

Hello lovely people,

How have you all been? Finally the winters have arrived and I am loving wearing hoodies in the morning when I leave for college. The environment is soo breezy and magnificent but the thing is after I leave the house I feel even more sleepy. Anyways enjoy the winter and I’ll get back to today’s pick; it a face pack from Banjara’s. Initially when I had picked this up I had a thing in mind that this would be something creamy since it has to be made up of fruit extracts but then I realised and the fact clicked that most of the packs which come in these white boxes are like fuller’s earth in a packet and I did not want that and there it was, I got that muddy pack. Let’s see how it worked for my moderately oily and acne-prone skin.

What banjara’s claim about the banjara’s fresh fruit face pack:

Banjara’s Fresh Fruit pack refines the skin texture. It firms up the pores and maintains the required skin balance and gives it a natural glow with fresh look.

How I liked the Banjara’s Fresh Fruit Face Pack

This face pack was not at all required by me because I already had multani mitti with me and some fuller’s earth and clay face packs as well. But since this came home I had to try it. It comes in a white box made up of paper which has a lady and fresh fruits design over it and the box looks pretty cheesy but for that price it is fine. The pack is inside the white box in a big plastic packet and once you open that packet you either have to staple it and open it every time you use it or fill it in a different plastic container like I did. The pack comes in a powder form and smells pretty awful. When I actually opened the packet I sneezed at once because the smell is almost like when you enter an old store room and all the mud just puffs into your nose, it smells that bad. The powder claims to have fruit extracts or fruit oils whatever, but I don’t know where they were because this looks nothing different than pure mutani mitti. I took a spoonful and that much is needed to cover up the face and the neck portion. I mixed it with rose water and applied it on my face and it glided pretty nicely on the face keeping in mind a balance between the rose water and the pack; because if the rose water is more the rose water was dripping off and if the pack is more then the clumps of pack were falling of the face, so be careful that you mix proper amount.

As soon as I applied it I got a nice soothing, cooling and a relaxing feeling which felt really good but after 5 minutes my skin started to feel itchy because the skin becomes really dry when the pack is on the face and I literally had to scratch the skin and the pack powder was falling on my pants. But I controlled my urge to itch and kept it for full 20 minutes till the pack had completely dried up. As soon as I got that stretchy feeling I washed it off the face with sponge. I had applied a thick layer so while removing it the clumps were hard which were scratching the skin. After I washed it I got a nice fresh face which was not that glowing but it did look fresh and the dirt basically had gone away and the oil too. So I am using it every alternate day because it gives me very soft and cold skin which I just keep on touching. But there was a little dry feeling on my face and I had to use a moisturizer, so complete no-no for dry skinned people especially in winters. This is decent one which firms up the skin a bit and gives a very fresh feeling every time you use it. But I think even fuller’s earth would do the same things that this did.

Will I repurchase/recommend banjara’s fresh fruit face pack:

No, I will not repurchase it because there is such a huge pack already with me and the quantity is enormous so will take a lot of time to finish up and I will not even recommend it because mostly all of you have fuller’s earth at home and this is almost the same so just skip this one.
