Diana of London Perfect Stay Lip Liner in Coffee

Hi girls! Since yesterday someone reviewed a Diana lipliner, I thought I might as well review the one I have :)

Product Description: An automatic long lasting lip liner with a twist up easy to use mechanism. It’s the perfect partner for your lipstick that keeps it in place for an all day look. It guarantees no feathering and is non fading. Its Smooth gliding formula provides longwearing definition that will last all day. It comes along with an end tail sharpener to form a precise and bold tip.

Price: 410 rs , I got it for around 250

My Experience with Diana of London Perfect Stay Lip Liner in Coffee:

The product comes in a retractable form , I like pencil ones better than these ones because of hygiene issues and because these feel more like lipsticks to me, however the pencil ones are drying on the lips many a times so these ones are better in terms of moisturization. It has a sharpener on the back which I don’t think is of any use, I mean how can we sharpen retractable pencils? Anyway It has a pretty stone attached on the cap, it is so pretty, I like it :)

Coming to the color Coffee it is such a dark unflattering colour, I don’t know why would anyone want to use this as a lipliner, dark lipliner and baby pink lippie? No thanks! I like brown liners but this is a dark brown, not MLBB kinds but ”in your face” dark chocolate brown! however because of the dark pigment, it stays forever, I had tea and a light meal with it and it did not transfer or vanished like light colors do. It does not bleed and is really long staying like the name suggests, I would have just liked it if the color would be a MLBB brown rather than this dark chocolate brown, otherwise it is a great lipliner :) The finish is perfectly matte and smudeproof. It goes on smoothly, and stays put for hours, and I really like how it does not have a weird fragnance :)

The color is almost black !! Vampy yes, but not in a good way. In my opinion it will make a nice oxblood red if mixed with a cherry red. The most awesome thing about this liner is it’s staying power, I wore it yesterday and even after 9 hours, it was intact ! *Shock* when I tried to take it off with water, it didn’t budge, so I used makeup remover and after sometime it dissolved. It is absolutely waterproof :D

Pros of Diana of London Perfect Stay Lip Liner in Coffee:

1) Cute stone studded cap, nice packaging
2) Stays on until it is removed
3) very pigmented
4) Non bleeding
5) Non drying
6) Does not transfer
7) No nasty fragrance
8) Waterproof

Cons of Diana of London Perfect Stay Lip Liner in Coffee:

1) This color is not something I would like to wear daily, actually not at all but I will wear it just to finish it but that does not make the product bad
2) Not really creamy so lips need to be moisturized otherwise might feel drying
3) 400 rs is expensive for a lip liner

IMBB Rating: 4/5
