This is my review about a moisturizing cream which I feel is necessary during this rainy season and important for dry skinned people like me.  I have a very oily face but the skin on my body is similar to the Sahara dessert which is very dry and always craving for moisturization.  I have been using the Pond’s Cold cream since many years, I am bored now and replaced it with Himalaya Herbals Nourishing Skin Cream.  Let’s see how it worked on me.

A gentle blend of herbal extracts that restores skin vitality.  Himalaya Herbals Nourishing Skin Cream is a light and non-greasy daily use cream, that provides you all day moisturizing, nourishment and protection. It is enriched with aloe vera which nourishes and moisturizes, and Winter cherry and Indian kino tree extracts, that protect your skin from pollution and dry weather.

Indications:

Suitable for all skin types.Refreshing, re-hydrating and all day nourishment.

Ingredients:

Aloe vera (Barbados Aloe, Kumari).Pterocarpus marsupium (Indian Kino Tree, Bijaka).Withania somnifera (Winter Cherry, Ashvagandha).Centella asiatica (Indian Pennywort, Mandukaparni).

How To Use:

Apply gently over face and neck twice daily. For best results, use regularly, can also be used as a base for make-up.

My Take on Himalaya Herbals Nourishing Skin Cream:

This comes in a sturdy tub packing with a green lid.  The color of this cream is white with a consistency that is neither too runny nor too thick, perfect consistency for a moisturizing cream.  It smells herbal, non bothering even for sensitive noses.  I actually bought this for my elbows and knees which need extreme moisturization.  I am happy with this cream as it kept my dry areas of body supple and stretch free.  In fact, I have started to use this for my hands also and it worked well.  Overall, its a nice moisturizing cream and can be replaced with Pond’s cold cream.  I also tried to use it as a face massage cream during my home facial routine and it worked well, but can never leave this on face as it is greasy, so wash it off or wipe it off.

• Affordable.
• Easily available.
• Made the dry parts of my body supple and stretch free.
• Can be used as a multipurpose cream.

Cons of Himalaya Herbals Nourishing Skin Cream:

• Greasy if you leave it on face without wiping or rinsing it off.

Do I Recommend Himalaya Herbals Nourishing Skin Cream?

Yes, if you are in desperate need of a multipurpose cream.
