How to Personalize Hair Clips with Duct Tape

Good morning girls! I am in a total vacation mood and am rushing to my relative’s place today. I literally have a train to catch in 2 hours and before that I want to do a quick DIY for you all. I made this thing for my little cousin and it’s so easy and fun that I just HAD to share it with you all .

All you would need for this are:

1. Duct tape( I used the remaining duct tape from my last DIY post)
2. Black clips
3. Feviquick
4. Red nail polish ( neon colors would be better)

 

Step 1: cut out a length of duct tape. The length should be just the double of how large you want your bow to be. Then fold it so that the sticky side is covered.

Step2: now from the rectangular piece of duct tape that you have in your hand just cut out curves from the sides. This would give a softened look to the bow

Step3: scrunch the rectangle exactly in the middle. See the pic

Step 4: cut out a smaller piece of duct tape and attach in the middle to secure the bow

Step5: apply some feviquick on the base of the clip and place your bow there

Step 6: apply red nail polish on the strip which is holding the bow. It would be better if you can use neon colors. I didn’t have any, so I had to use red. Let it dry and apply a second coat to intensify the color.

You are done! easy peesy, wasn’t it? This is how it should look.
